What is mental fitness? It simply means keeping your brain and emotional health in the best shape possible and ensuring that you are living with self awareness and being kind to yourself. 

At ALTR we encourage you to embrace the truth of mind and body connection. We encourage all our Natives to acknowledge that mental fitness should be given equal priority to every other area of your health and should not be neglected. We know that mental focus and positive thinking leads to improvement in all other areas of life and at ALTR we can provide you with the necessary toolkit to help you seamlessly shift your mindset to an upwards cycle of growth, positivity and happiness.

Small Daily Rituals:
Studies have shown that there are variety of extremely simple and effective ways that we can improve our emotional and physical health:
• Short daily brain exercises.
• Keeping a diary.
• Daily Affirmations
• Daily gratitude journals
• Nightly reflection journals.
• 2 minutes of meditation each day
• List writing

Positive Literature: We stock a full range of positive and conscious literature to underpin and develop your growth and transformation. We can recommend reading for you to improve your understanding and to learn new skills or journals to ensure your commitment and self growth. Life Coaching & Goal Setting: We have specially trained staff who can provide bespoke support, advice and encouragement to help you to achieve your personal mental fitness goals and life objectives. The same way that a personal trainer would conduct a fitness test and identify your physical fitness goals, our advisors can work with you to fulfil your potential in all areas of life.  Working together, your coach will design a programme of work to fit with your values, attitudes and beliefs and commitments. Whether its a one-off session that you need to kick start your new life or if you would prefer to goal set and review at regular intervals we can tailor make a package to suit your budget and your needs. 

Motivational Workshops: As well as the yoga and other physical fitness workshops we will hold a number of mental fitness seminars and workshops throughout each year.

Therapeutic Counselling Services: At ALTR we appreciate that from time to time many of us feel overwhelmed and sometimes we need additional assistance to help us navigate a way forward.  We work closely with a number of experienced counsellors from a variety of disciplines, who can assist, adults, children and couples.  Their services are of course completely confidential and can be accessed with the greatest of discretion.  In times of need we will be able to help you access any additional support that you require for as long as is necessary.  We can also help signpost you to any outside services where appropriate.   

GROUP ACTIVITIES:
 We understand that as individuals, we are all more likely to achieve our personal objectives if we are engaged with others,  improving our accountability and providing motivation to succeed.
